Strickland Opts Out of Election ID Vote
The House has passed a bill to increase election validity by a count of 228-196, with 3 Republicans and 4 Democrats switching sides. While the Democrats may overwhelmingly support open borders and the destruction of our economy, at least most of them had the moxy to put their votes on record. Ted Strickland did not, he must feel that border security is "too controversial" an issue to have an official vote on heading into the election season. Check the list here. Why would the Democrats oppose a photo ID to vote? Why would anyone? It seems painfully obvious to me. The Blackwell camp should broadcast this loudly and repeatedly.

I think it would be cool if every citizen was supplied gratis with a passport that they could use for identification purposes as well as travel abroad. I also think its fair to consider the objections of citizens, if they object to having a photo id card. Personally, I don't believe it should be necessary to have a photo id for voting purposes, I think the minimum of tracking apparatus already in place, including birth certificates and social security numbers, (when applicable) are enough. You know that a photo id is just about as easily compromised as other forms of identification.

I wish you the poorest of fortunes in your fascist crusade. Hail victory comrade. Remember your betrayal of him that loved all of us the next time you kiss his effigy of suffering. Cheers.

It's true, photo IDs can be faked, but anti-pirating measures are becoming stronger. Why not have a photo id booklet with the person's picture next to their name where we sign to confirm our vote?

You make a good, well reasoned point, then seem to lapse into insanity. Thus is the story of today's American pacifists. Despite your namecalling tantrum, in the spirit of our Lord, I wish you the greatest of fortunes in your life and in the future. As my beloved grandmother says, "May the road rise to meet you, and may the wind be always at your back."

Its not insanity, you simply don't understand that Christ met the people with open arms while you meet them with your elbow and call it Christianity. As far as economic destruction and pacifism go, consider Christ if you favor him; did he love industry, did he love animosity? I myself am not a strict pacifist, but Christ was.
